Jon Kidd serves as the Principal and Managing Director of Velocity One, LLC. A performance-driven executive and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in complex commercial lending and compliance, Jon brings over two decades of leadership experience to the commercial finance sector.

Specializing in Embedded Finance and SBA 7(a) structuring, he has successfully quarterbacked compliant business acquisitions, expansion capital, and commercial investor income property loans during his tenure with Commercial Capital FL, LTD. His strategic approach enables SMB and mid-market companies to aggressively expand and improve profitability through tailored capital solutions.

Prior to Velocity One, Jon co-founded multiple financial services firms, including Banyan Life Financial. Under his leadership, the firm facilitated several hundred million in life insurance face value, successfully securing $207 million for nationwide charities through a strictly compliant underwriting process. Jon’s deep compliance expertise has made him a sought-after speaker at the Harvard Club and national financial conferences, with published insights in the National Underwriter and Wall Street Transcripts.
